Established in 2023, VERBUND Green Power Italia is committed to advancing renewable energy initiatives across Italy, progressing through various stages of development

Projects in Operation

: In June 2025, the company inaugurated its first operational project, the 10 MW Novoli 1 & 2 plant, located in Lecce, Puglia.

Projects in Construction

Currently, two additional solar plants are under construction: a 7 MW photovoltaic facility in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and a 60 MW plant in Lazio. These projects exemplify VERBUND’s ongoing investment in expanding renewable energy capacity. Further construction sites will be launched shortly, bringing us to a total of 100 MW under construction and in operation by 2026.

As VERBUND continues to grow in Italy, the company is exploring innovative strategies in battery storage, hybridization, and other advanced technologies to enhance its contributions to a sustainable future.
